Irvine opened in 1999, five years after Newport Beach, in a medical building on Sand Canyon Avenue that now sits beside Hoag Hospital Irvine. The Irvine Spectrum is a few minutes south, and the Irvine Metrolink station is a short drive away. Patients come from Woodbridge, Northwood, Portola Springs, Tustin and Lake Forest, and UC Irvine students fill our summer schedule.
Dr. Natalie Chen places implants, sinus lifts and Teeth in a Day, and uses platelet-rich fibrin to support healing. Dr. Andrew Pham removes wisdom teeth and exposes impacted canines, and he runs teen evaluations for families from Northwood, Portola and University High. Dr. William Carver sees full-arch, zygomatic and implant revision patients on Mondays, with Dr. Jonathan Blake, our prosthodontist, designing the teeth.
Irvine is also where our oral surgery fellow trains. Dr. Isabella Romero operates under the direct supervision of a Molly surgeon on every case, and patients often tell us they like the extra time she spends explaining their plan. Dr. Lucas Moreau, a periodontist, handles gum grafting and socket preservation.
Dr. Leah Morrison, our dentist anesthesiologist, provides general anesthesia on Tuesdays and Fridays, and nurse practitioner Brian O'Connell completes pre-surgery medical reviews. We open at 7 a.m. on weekdays and see consultations on Saturday mornings. Our team speaks Mandarin, Korean, Farsi, Hindi and Spanish, so many families can go through the consultation in the language they are most comfortable with.
