Oral surgery in Burbank

Burbank opened in 2018 on the third floor of a building on West Alameda, across the street from the studios that give the Media District its name. Many of our patients work on lots in Burbank and Studio City and keep unpredictable schedules, so we open at 7 a.m. Monday to Friday and try hard to keep appointments on time.

Dr. Thomas Nakamura has placed implants since 2002 and is known for rescuing implants that are failing or were placed poorly elsewhere. He also performs Teeth in a Day and full-arch surgery here. Dr. Olivia Grant, our prosthodontist, works with him on full-arch cases and on implant-supported dentures, which are popular with Burbank's retirees who are tired of loose dentures.

Dr. Grace Liu splits her week between Burbank and Pasadena. She removes wisdom teeth, places single implants and sinus lifts, and sees a lot of teenagers from Burroughs and Burbank High for wisdom teeth evaluations. Glendale families often find this office easier than driving into Pasadena.

Every surgeon here provides IV sedation with ECG, pulse oximetry and capnography running throughout. For patients who need general anesthesia, we schedule surgery at our Pasadena or Sherman Oaks office, both about 15 minutes away, and keep the rest of your care in Burbank. Hollywood Burbank Airport is close by, which suits patients flying in from Northern California for implant work.
