Molly La Jolla is on Genesee Avenue beside Scripps Memorial Hospital, minutes from UC San Diego. It is our San Diego center for jaw and craniofacial surgery, oral pathology, facial pain and full-arch implants, open Saturday mornings.

La Jolla opened in 2008 on the seventh floor of a medical tower on Genesee Avenue, next to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. UC San Diego and Westfield UTC are a few minutes away, and the trolley's UC San Diego Blue Line runs nearby. Patients come from University City, La Jolla Village, Clairemont, Pacific Beach and Mira Mesa, and many are referred by physicians at Scripps and UC San Diego Health.
Dr. Benjamin Ortiz leads corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and sleep apnea surgery here, and performs chin surgery to balance the face. Dr. Fiona McAllister, our craniofacial surgeon, holds a cleft clinic on Thursdays. Dr. Priya Raman focuses on oral pathology and cancer screening; she evaluates and biopsies lesions and coordinates with oncology teams when needed. She also treats TMJ disorders with Dr. Steven Novak, our orofacial pain specialist.
For implants, Dr. Carlos Mendoza places single implants and Teeth in a Day, and Dr. Ethan Park, a prosthodontist, designs full-arch cases from the first scan. Dr. Rafael Santos, our dentist anesthesiologist, provides general anesthesia on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Having this many specialists in one suite means complex cases are discussed across the hallway rather than by referral letter. We see consultations on Saturday mornings, and our coordinators can arrange medical insurance pre-authorization for jaw, pathology and trauma care before you are scheduled.

From the I-5, exit Genesee Ave and head west about half a mile. We are in the medical tower on the north side of Genesee, next to Scripps Memorial Hospital. From the I-805, exit La Jolla Village Dr west, then turn right on Genesee Ave.

Paid parking in the medical tower structure, validated for patients. Drop-off and pick-up are at the tower entrance on Genesee.
