Chula Vista is our newest office, opened in 2024 on Medical Center Court beside Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. It is a few minutes from the 805 at Telegraph Canyon Road, with Otay Ranch Town Center and Southwestern College close by. Patients come from Eastlake, Otay Ranch, Bonita, National City, Imperial Beach and San Ysidro.
Dr. Carlos Mendoza leads the office. He has practiced since 2010 and removes wisdom teeth, places implants, performs Teeth in a Day, and takes out teeth that cannot be saved. Before Chula Vista opened, many South Bay patients drove to La Jolla to see him; now he spends most of the week here. He is fully bilingual and explains each step in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.
Dr. Rafael Santos, our dentist anesthesiologist, provides general anesthesia here on Wednesdays. That is especially helpful for longer Teeth in a Day cases, for patients with medical conditions who benefit from being on a hospital campus, and for anyone with strong dental anxiety.
Our team speaks Spanish and Tagalog, and our coordinators are used to checking dental and medical coverage together, including Denti-Cal for patients under 21. The office was designed for surgery from the start, with private recovery suites and a 3D CBCT scanner in the consultation room. Parking is free in the medical campus lot.
