Oral surgery in Mission Viejo

Mission Viejo opened in 2011 on Crown Valley Parkway, a few minutes from Mission Hospital and just east of the 5. Our patients come from Laguna Niguel, Ladera Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest and Laguna Hills. Many are retirees from Laguna Woods Village, and a good share of our wisdom teeth patients are Saddleback College students and teens from Mission Viejo and Trabuco Hills High.

Dr. Megan Sullivan leads implant care here. She places implants and bone grafts and is especially experienced with implant-supported dentures, which suit many patients who have worn a loose denture for years. She is patient with first-time surgery patients and explains each stage on the 3D scan before anything is scheduled.

Dr. Andrew Pham removes wisdom teeth and exposes impacted canines, and he provides IV sedation for younger patients who are nervous about surgery. Dr. Lucas Moreau, our periodontist, grafts receding gums and preserves extraction sites so implants have a solid foundation.

Dr. Leah Morrison, our dentist anesthesiologist, is here on Wednesdays for general anesthesia, and nurse practitioner Brian O'Connell reviews medical histories before surgery, which is particularly helpful for older patients managing several medications. The office is on the second floor with an elevator beside the entrance, and our team is used to coordinating with family members who help with transport. We print aftercare instructions in large type and review them with you and your driver before you leave.
