Oral surgery in Thousand Oaks

Thousand Oaks opened in 2020 on Rolling Oaks Drive, a few minutes from Los Robles Regional Medical Center, The Oaks and the Civic Arts Plaza. It is our only office in Ventura County, so patients come from Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Moorpark and Simi Valley, and some from as far as Ventura and Ojai.

Dr. Amelia Hart leads implant care here. She places single implants and performs full-arch surgery, and she is also our oral pathology surgeon for the region, evaluating and biopsying lesions that local dentists and physicians refer. She has practiced since 2008 and is known for clear, unhurried explanations of what a scan or biopsy shows.

Dr. Samuel Weiss handles much of the office's wisdom teeth surgery, including impacted teeth, and removes teeth that cannot be saved. He has practiced since 2001 and provides IV sedation for nervous patients and teenagers. Students from Westlake, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park High, and from Cal Lutheran, make up much of his summer schedule.

Both surgeons provide IV sedation with continuous monitoring. For patients who need general anesthesia, we schedule surgery at our Sherman Oaks office, about 25 minutes east on the 101, and keep consultations and follow-ups here. Parking is free outside our ground-floor suite, and our team includes Spanish and Farsi speakers. Your surgeon calls you the evening after surgery.
