Dr. Leah Morrison, DMD

Dr. Leah Morrison is a dentist anesthesiologist who provides IV sedation and general anesthesia across Molly’s coastal Orange County offices. She earned her DMD at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona and completed a three-year dental anesthesiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh. She joined Molly in 2015, holds a California general anesthesia permit, and is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

She manages anesthesia for longer and more complex cases, including full-arch surgery, patients with heart or lung conditions, and people with severe dental anxiety. She meets each patient before surgery, reviews medications and fasting instructions, and monitors ECG, pulse oximetry and capnography throughout. She wrote Molly’s guide to IV sedation and general anesthesia, and patients say she explains the difference just as plainly in person.
