Oral & facial surgery in Carlsbad
Carlsbad opened in 2015 on Hidden Valley Road, a few minutes east of the 5 and close to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets, LEGOLAND and the Flower Fields. Patients come from La Costa, Encinitas, Oceanside, Vista and San Marcos, and many military families stationed at Camp Pendleton use our office for wisdom teeth and implant care.
Dr. Hannah Lindqvist places implants, sinus lifts and bone grafts and performs full-arch surgery. Dr. Ethan Park, a prosthodontist, designs and fits full-arch and Teeth in a Day cases with her, so the teeth are planned before the implants are placed. Dr. David Kim removes wisdom teeth and difficult teeth and handles emergency surgery; he keeps openings for urgent infections and broken teeth on weekdays.
Carlsbad is also a training office. Dr. Tyler Brooks, our oral surgery fellow, removes wisdom teeth and places implants under the direct supervision of a Molly surgeon. He is board-eligible and spends a lot of time explaining each step, which nervous first-time patients appreciate.
Dr. Rafael Santos, our dentist anesthesiologist, provides general anesthesia on Thursdays. Our coordinators are familiar with TRICARE dental plans for military families and will check your coverage before your consultation. Parking is free and close to the entrance. If you are a new arrival to North County and do not yet have a dentist, we can recommend several nearby who work closely with our surgeons and can restore your implant once it heals.
