Your consultation
Know the plan before anything is scheduled
Your first visit is a conversation, not a commitment. You meet the surgeon who would operate, see your anatomy on a 3D scan, and leave with one written quote. Most consultations are booked within 48 hours.

At your consultation
Typically 45 to 60 minutes, start to finish
- Step 1
Before you arrive
- Book online or call. No referral needed.
- Fill out your forms online in about 10 minutes.
- We check your dental and medical insurance ahead of time.
- Step 2
Your 3D scan
- A panoramic X-ray, and a cone-beam CT (CBCT) scan when it helps.
- The scan takes under a minute while you stand still.
- It shows bone, roots, nerves and sinuses in three dimensions.
- Step 3
Meet your surgeon
- An exam, then your scan on screen, explained in plain words.
- Your options, including not treating, with the risks of each.
- Anesthesia choices, and time for every question.
- Step 4
Your written quote
- Imaging, anesthesia, surgery and follow-ups in one estimate.
- What each insurance is expected to pay, and your share.
- Financing options if you want them.
- Step 5
Scheduling, when you’re ready
- Book surgery that day, or take the quote home and decide later.
- You get written pre-op instructions with your date.
- Your referring dentist, if you have one, gets a report.

- Dental and medical insurance cards
- A list of your medications and supplements, including any blood thinners

Do your paperwork at home
Complete your registration, medical history and privacy acknowledgment online before you arrive. It takes about 10 minutes, and works on your phone.
Start your formsEncrypted and handled under HIPAA.
No referral needed
Come to us directly, or with your dentist

You don’t need a referral to see a Molly surgeon. Many patients book on their own, and that’s fine.
If your dentist or orthodontist did refer you, bring the slip or let us know their name. We’ll request any recent X-rays, send them a report after your consultation, and keep them updated after surgery, so your care stays coordinated.
Our promises to you
Nervous? That’s normal.
Most people feel uneasy before surgery. Here is what we do to make it easier.
Board-certified surgeons
Every Molly surgeon is board-certified or a fellow working under one. You meet your surgeon at your consultation, not on the day of surgery.
Anesthesia, done properly
IV sedation and general anesthesia with continuous monitoring, and a dedicated anesthesia provider for longer cases. Every office is AAAHC-accredited.
One clear quote
Imaging, anesthesia, surgery and follow-ups in one written estimate before anything is scheduled. We check your dental and medical insurance for you.
We’re with you after
Your surgeon calls the evening after surgery, and a surgeon answers our 24/7 line any night of the week.

Consultation questions
Do I need a referral to see a Molly surgeon?
No. You can book directly with any of our offices, and most consultations are available within 48 hours. Referrals from dentists and orthodontists are always welcome, and if your dentist has recent X-rays, we'll request them so you may not need new ones. Some HMO or medical plans require a referral for coverage, and we'll tell you if yours does.
What happens at my first consultation?
You meet the surgeon who would do your procedure. We take any imaging you need, usually a panoramic X-ray and, for implants or teeth near a nerve, a 3D CBCT scan. Your surgeon examines you, explains what they see on the screen, talks through your options and anesthesia choices, and answers your questions. You leave with one written quote and no pressure to schedule on the spot.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Most consultations are booked within 48 hours, and many offices can see you the same or next day. If you have swelling, severe pain or an injury, call your nearest office and we'll fit you in the same day whenever possible.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring a photo ID, your dental and medical insurance cards, a list of the medications and supplements you take, and any recent X-rays or your referral slip if you have one. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian needs to come with you. Completing the online forms before your visit saves time in the office.
Will I meet my surgeon before surgery day?
Yes. At Molly you meet your surgeon at your consultation, not for the first time on the day of surgery. They review your scans with you, explain the plan and answer your questions, and the same surgeon performs your procedure.
A calm first step.
Book a consultation online in about a minute. You’ll meet your surgeon, see your scan, and leave with one written quote before anything is scheduled.
