Oral surgery in Riverside

Riverside opened in 2016 so Inland Empire patients would no longer need to drive to Orange County for complex surgery. We are on Brockton Avenue, a block from Riverside Plaza and a few minutes from the historic Mission Inn, Mount Rubidoux and California Baptist University. Patients come from Arlington Heights, Wood Streets, Canyon Crest, Corona, Norco and Moreno Valley.

Dr. Michael Osei leads full-arch and zygomatic implant care. He is one of five Molly surgeons offering zygomatic and pterygoid implants, which anchor in denser bone when the upper jaw has been lost to years of denture wear. He also performs corrective jaw surgery and works with sleep physicians at Riverside Community Hospital and Kaiser on surgical options for sleep apnea.

Dr. Jessica Alvarez removes wisdom teeth and places implants, and she runs teen evaluations for families from Poly, Ramona, North and King High. UC Riverside students make up much of her summer schedule. Dr. Nathan Cole places implants and bone grafts and is experienced with implant-supported dentures, a common choice for patients who want something more secure than a conventional denture at a lower cost than a fixed arch.

Jordan Ellis, a certified registered nurse anesthetist, provides general anesthesia on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We know many of our patients drive a long way, so we schedule longer surgeries early in the day and can recommend hotels near downtown for patients coming from the desert or the high country.
