Marisol Vega, DNAP, CRNA

Marisol Vega is a certified registered nurse anesthetist who covers Molly’s Long Beach, Torrance, Fullerton and Anaheim Hills offices. She earned her BSN at California State University, Long Beach, worked as a critical care nurse, then completed her nurse anesthesia training at Samuel Merritt University and her Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has practiced anesthesia since 2013 and joined Molly in 2017.

She provides IV sedation and general anesthesia for longer surgeries, including jaw surgery at Anaheim Hills and Fullerton, and for patients with complex medical histories. She reviews each patient’s medications and fasting instructions ahead of time, monitors ECG, pulse oximetry and capnography continuously, and talks patients through waking up. She consults in Spanish and English, and families often say she put their parent or teenager at ease within minutes.
